abbits have been popular pets for centuries, and they live on average to 5 years old (though we have heard of a few reaching 9 years old..and still going!) Rabbits are usually very docile but, if cornered, frightened or frustrated, can be nervous and will bite or 'attack' you by scrabbling with their front paws.
Rabbits are lagomorphs and that means that their teeth are constantly growing. They require plenty of hard food to chew to keep their teeth worn down. Complete rabbit dry foods are good, but should not be the sole diet.
Rabbits should have good hay and fresh water available all the time. Very small amounts of cabbage or carrot can be fed as treats.
Any new food should be introduced slowly and not fed to excess as it may cause diarrhoea until the rabbit is used to it. This especially refers to young rabbits that have either just left their mother or their litter brothers and sisters, as this is a traumatic time for them anyway.

Where do the doves go when released? The doves have been trained to return to their home loft. People often ask if all doves will fly home. NO. Only those that have been properly bred with the "homing" instinct and correctly trained. NEVER release doves that have not been trained to return home. Pet store birds or Turtle Doves should never be released because they cannot be trained to return.

The koala is the true symbol of Australia and its unique wildlife. In south-east Queensland, locals and visitors alike can still see them in the wild lounging in trees or carrying their young. Today, the fragmenting of open forests by roads and development has left them vulnerable to a number of threats: they are being killed by cars or attacked by dogs as they move between trees. Symbols are meant to last forever and this one can too if we control our dogs and drive carefully.

The snake holds significant symbolism in many cultures, Indian, Chinese, Egyptian, Greek, Native Americans, and others. Depending on your heritage or spiritual leanings the meaning of snake as a totem will vary. In general the snake is representative of wisdom and rebirth. When snake appears as a totem you can expect a transition or spiritual awakening to take place. Notice how the snake looks. Is the snake coiled in slumber or are its fangs exposed and ready to attack? Is the snake shedding or preparing to shed its skin? A coiled snake usually symbolizes an awakening will happen. A snake ready to bite could indicate a need for you to defend your territory or personal beliefs. A snake shedding is representative of a death, usually a symbolic death, which will create a space for a new birthing to occur.
