Today golf is played by most executives and on the course is where networking happens and business relationships are formed. Also, today there are women that fill these executive roles and many have started to play golf for business purposes. Notably a womens' group of executives banded together and have thousands of members across the country in the Executive Womens Golf Association. Not too many Years ago golf was primarily a men’s sport and when women started taking over high positions in the work force, they did not consider playing golf as part of their job. Most women that hold these jobs are very responsible people and they have felt their time was more productive in the office.(Interesting observation about priorities.) Today golf for women is more popular and the female executives realize the importance of the business relationships gained on the golf course.

There comes an age and time in life when every person coupled or otherwise considers the question of whether or not to have a child. For some people, this is a no-brainer and they know from the time they are very young that children are in their future. For others, it is once that causes distress, concerns and worries because the urge is just not there. And still, for others it becomes an impossibility or an accidental decision. Having a baby is a huge step in life often seen as the entrance to the threshold of adulthood. There is lots of pressure, silent and outward, on people to have a baby and it is almost as if choosing otherwise is some sort of abomination.
In today’s world where men and women are becoming more equal, financially independent and are encouraged to develop passions outside of hearth and home the sheer thought of having a baby can be disgruntling. Regardless of what you think, what you have been told or what your imagination dreams of your future to be – having a child changes everything in more ways than imaginable. Some of those ways are more positive than you thought possible and others can be frustrating leaving parents to feel as if they have just entered a life sentence. Which in so many ways, they have.

My family owns and operates Walz Guide Service, operating out of Craig, Colorado. We operate in combination with Colorado's Ranching for Wildlife program. This program allows us to hunt until January 21st. By doing so, we get to hunt all stages of the rut for mule deer, elk, and antelope. Anybody who has hunted northwest Colorado knows about the abundance of game, and by allowing our outfit to hunt throughout the rut and wintering stages, we get a chance to harvest and view some incredible trophies. This program also improves critical habitat for wildlife, so it's a win/win for everybody
